Place your CTA just beneath your main heading copy. This way, when the user reads your opening statement, they can take action if they want.

Your primary CTA should be the most prominent button, aligned with your ideal conversion action. Common examples include “Start Free Trial”, “Book a Demo”, or “Get Started”.

That being said. If I had a penny for every time someone read the heading copy then clicked the primary CTA and booked a call, I’d have about 4 pence. This is super rare.

For prospects who aren’t ready to convert, include a lower-commitment secondary CTA. This might be “Watch Video,” “View Pricing,” or “Learn More.”

The key here is to use different styling to indicate hierarchy. Your primary CTA should stand out more.

Next to the heading and your CTAs, there should be a supporting visual asset.
